Clickbank Finally Updates Vendor Promotion Guidelines

As a Clickbank vendor and affiliate, I have been sickened by the sleazy sales tactics some vendors have been using to dupe people into buying their products.

The most egregious promotions include actors with condescending attitudes, taking off in rented aircraft, pretending to be ultra-wealthy, and portraying themselves as the creator and user of the products being sold.

What sleazy promotions do to the rest of the Clickbank marketplace is degrade the reputation of great products and services in the marketplace.

I’m not sure what took them so long, but Clickbank has finally come out with guidelines to combat the sleaze marketers.  It is my hope that the scammers will go elsewhere.  But in any case, they won’t be able to put a product on the marketplace at Clickbank from now on when they violate the new guidelines.  This is good news for everyone who works hard to deliver value and sell honestly.
