Flock and Roll!

I am really getting into the Flock browser. Here are some things I loved about the install:

1. It brought everything over from my Firefox browser except the add ons. Pretty cool since I didn’t know I’d get anything ported over on install which is one reason I hadn’t used it till now!

2. It recognized the moment I logged into one of several supported services, like Gmail, that I was doing so and asked if I wanted it attached to Flock. Of course I did! It also recognized Facebook, Flickr, YouTube, Pownce, Twitter and others. It has cool ways of bringing all that important stuff into the browser and literally putting your active social sites at your fingertips.

3. There’s a lot to do right away and a feeling of accomplishment without having to set the browser up for hours just the way you like it.

4. It brought all my social site submission buttons over from my old link bar – sweet!

5. You get a cool home page tab that has all your favorite feeds, favorite sites, and info from all your social sites all right there in one tidy place.

Things I didn’t like included having to re-install the Google Toolbar and others, and my add ons folder was empty. But I wasn’t broken hearted. I was really expecting a much more painful process, hence my just now starting to even get into Flock, lol.

With all the dragging and dropping and several social accounts now at clicking distance inside the browser, I feel more productive even before I’ve really gone to town on the thing and put it through its paces. 🙂

If you were worried about Flock, like me, and the process of setting up a browser without slowing down on your marketing and linking, worry no more. Its really actually painless. Flock to Flock and ditch FireFox. You won’t look back.
