Michel Fortin tagged me so now I must confess.
(This form of [tag]tagging[/tag] is a bit different than what I talk about for blog promotion usually.)
Here are 5 things you didn’t know…
1. I had absolutely no business background before I went full-time with my online business. I was a professional non-profit executive, activist and fundraiser for 11 years.
2. Wildlife and wilderness are my first love. Polar opposite to compouters, silicon chips, email, and blogs, I know. But these days I am making up for giving 11 years of my life to make the world a better place. And I like to think I am still doing so through contributions to organizations I still work with and teaching people to succeed in online business.
3. I never wanted kids and now my whole world revolves around one. This one to be exact.
4. I play drums every Thursday and some Saturday nights with my friend John Wright. (See a pic of me with my drum on John’s page) West African hand percussion to Johnny Cash music. It’s never been done. Probably for good reason. But people love it all the same and it gets me out of the house!
5. I don’t naturally like computers or surfing all day on the web. My goal is to someday have one email address, retire in a sunny, warm tropical place, open a bar and forget all about online business! One day I will post a picture of me with a sledge hammer pommeling my computer equipment into dust.
There’s too much world to see and experience to be stuck in stasis in front of a radiation emitting, beer-belly producing computer! The goal of my business is to put myself out of business as soon as possible. 🙂
