After being kind enough to drop by and assure me MyBlogLog.com was only going to get better after the Yahoo purchase, I was happy to find more information about Horowitz, Yahoo’s V.P. of product strategy, and more on what Yahoo plans to do with MBL.
“What we bring to the party is fairly unique. We bring Yahoo!’s name and brand and a track record of bringing in these companies and giving them the autonomy they need to execute their vision.” Horowitz said in an interview with The Deal’s David Shabelman recently.

Why do I care so much? I mean there’s been 4 billion acquisitions of startups since last week, right?
Simply because I love the service MyBlogLog.com provides. I honestly cannot picture a day going by, including weekends, without checking my stats and seeing exactly where people come from, where they go on the site, and where they move on from the site.
I’ve paid far more than $3 a month for far less important services!
I’ve also gotten a lot of visitors from the community MyBlogLog.com is building.
It doesn’t hurt that I joined up fairly early. It is still very early considering the kind of user base Yahoo can now push through it.
